Why is there a bleed in printing?

The bleeding position refers to the part that is easily cut out for retaining the effective content of the text when printing.
Bleed is a commonly used printing term. Bleeding in book printing refers to a pattern that increases the outer size of the product. Adding some pattern extensions to the cutting position is specifically used for each production process within its process tolerance to avoid cutting the finished product has white edges or cut to content. When make the book printing artwork file, we are divided into the design size and the finished product size. The design size is always larger than the finished product size. The larger side is to be cut out after printing. The part to printed and cut out is called bleed.
